Free Blog Promotion Tips - ZtuchOfficial

If you want to grow your blog, then it's critical that you take time to promote it. Unfortunately, the old theory, "if you build it, they will come," doesn't apply to blogs. With over one hundred million blogs being tracked by blog search engines such as Technorati, publishing compelling content isn't enough to drive awareness and traffic for your blog. Instead, you need to invest in some old-fashioned sweat equity to give your blog a traffic boost. The 10 free blog promotion tips below will help you get started.

An easy way to give your blog a promotional boost is by commenting on other blogs. Each time you comment, enter the same name and URL in the corresponding fields in the blog comment form. Doing so will help your search engine optimization efforts over time. When you leave relevant, interesting and useful comments on other blogs (particularly those that are related to your own blog's topic), people will notice and follow the link back to your blog to learn more about you and read more of what you have to say.

Join social bookmarking, sites like Digg, StumbleUpon and Delicious and submit great content (not just your own). Additionally, consider jumping on the microblogging bandwagon and join Twitter. All of these efforts will increase awareness of your blog and give it added exposure.

Link to Other Blogs in Your Own Posts

Try to include links to other blogs in your own blog posts. Refer to other blogs you enjoy reading or specific posts you found particularly interesting. When those other blogs have the trackback, feature turned on in their blogging software, programs, you'll automatically get a link back to your own blog in the comment section of those posts. At the very least, the other blogger will see the incoming links from your blog in their blog statistic, reports, putting you and your blog on his or her radar, and that means more exposure for you.

WhatsApp Has A Lot of Hidden Features You Might Not Know About - Ztuch

Here’s how to get the most out of WhatsApp.

"I'll WhatsApp you," has now become a pretty standard phrase, usurping the conventional practice of "texting" SMS messages and replacing it with account-based instant messaging over more versatile or lower cost wi-fi or data connections, while, at the same time, preserving the link to the person's telephone number. The messaging apps ubiquity is no surprise, with its user base far surpassing any previously popular messaging service such as BBM and Facebook messenger; by 2016, Whatsapp had ONE BILLION active users and is the most used and trusted IM client on the planet.
The backstory to Whatsapp is awesome as well. Two guys -- Brian Acton and Jan Koum -- left their employment at Yahoo and searched for new opportunities at Facebook, where they were turned down. Looking for what to do next the two engineers took interest in the then-embryonic App Store, a thing they saw as a HUGE opportunity, and set about working on an idea for a proprietary messaging service.
--------------------------------------------------
Also: if you're interested in becoming an iPhone developer, UDEMY is running an amazing offer right now which, for just £15 (it's usually £200!), will get you access to one of the best iPhone Developer Courses on the planet right now – The Complete iOS 10 Developer Course. In this course you will learn how to make apps like WhatsApp, Uber and SnapChat.
And if Android's your thang, well, there's one for that as well! The Complete Android N Developer Course.
--------------------------------------------------
Whatsapp was incorporated in 2009, just seven years ago, and the rest, as they say, is history. Whatsapp, like Facebook and Instagram before it, is a shining example of how just a few people, armed with the right idea and sense of timing, can make HUGE waves in the technology space.
WhatsApp users send 42 billion messages a day, they share 1.6 billion pics each day and 250 million videos, and there are over 1 billion WhatsApp groups.
No wonder Facebook bought the company for a whopping $19 billion in cash and stock. But despite the large number of users, most people don’t know the little tips and tricks that make using WhatsApp even better. That’s why we’ve put together this handy guide to help you get the most out of WhatsApp. With it you’ll be chatting like a WhatsApp pro in no time.

Disable Read Receipts

Read Receipts are the two little blue check marks next to a message that signal when the message has been read. They’re handy, but sometimes you don’t want people knowing that you’ve seen their message already—usually because you don’t have the time to reply right then and it could make the sender feel like they aren’t important. To display read receipts:
  1. In WhatsApp, go to Settings > Account > Privacy
  2. Toggle the Read Receipts option to off.

Hide ‘Last Seen’ timestamp

WhatsApp allows others to see when when you were last on the app by default However you can disable the ‘Last Seen’ timestamp so no one can see the last time you were on the app or just select people can.
  1. In WhatsApp, go to Settings > Account > Privacy
  2. Tap “Last Seen” and then select either My Contacts, which lets only people in your contacts see your status, or Nobody, which doesn’t let anyone see your status.

Backup and Restore WhatsApp conversations

WhatsApp allows you to backup your conversations so you can transfer them to a new phone. This is handy considering how often people switch phones. What’s you’ve backup up your conversations you can restore them on your new device.
  1. In WhatsApp, go to Settings > Chats > Chat Backup
  2. Tap Back Up Now.
To restore chats from a backup, just download the WhatsApp app on a new device and open it. You’ll then be promoted to decide if you want to restore chats from the previous backup.

Save conversation as a text file

A really cool feature of WhatsApp is that you can save conversations as a text file. This is great for record keeping purposes. Here’s how to do it:
  1. Open the chat for the individual or group.
  2. Tap on the Menu Button.
  3. Tap on More.
  4. Tap on Email chat.
  5. Choose whether to Attach Media or not.
An email will be composed with your chat history attached as a text document.

Block contacts

Ever got spam WhatsApp messages or want to stop getting drunk texts from that ex? You can block any WhatsApp user from contacting you again.
  1. Tap the conversation by the person you want to block.
  2. Tap the header of the conversations (where it says their name or number).
  3. Tap Block this Contact.

Mute group chats

Group chats in WhatsApp are great—they allow you to talk to a number of people at a time and thus save your from repeating yourself in individual conversations. But group chats can also get annoying when only a few people are carrying on talking, yet you keep getting notifications for everything they see. You can of course just leave the group chat to stop this—or do this to disable the group chat’s notifications:
  • On iPhone: open the group chat, tap the subject to get the Group Info screen, and then tap Mute and then choose the time frame.
  • On Android, open the chat, tap the Menu button, and tap Mute and then choose the time frame.

See who you chat with the most

Ever wonder who you chat with the most in WhatsApp? Here’s how to find out:
  1. In WhatsApp, go to Settings > Account > Storage Usage. Here you’ll see a list of people with the number of messages you’ve sent each other.

Stop media files being automatically saved

By default what apps automatically saves all the media files you send and receive. This is handy, but the autosave feature can quickly take up space in your phone, especially if people send a lot of video. Here’s how to stop media files from being automatically saved:
  1. In WhatsApp, go to Settings > Chats and toggle the Save Incoming Media switch to off.

Star a message

Not many people know this, but WhatsApp lets you star individual messages as favorites. This is handy if a message has important information, like a phone number or address. Instead of having to swipe back through conversations to find it again, starred messages can quickly be viewed all in one place.
  1. Tap and hold the message until the pop up menu appears.
  2. Tap the star button to star the message.
  3. To find your starred messages, tap Settings and then tap Starred Messages. All your starred messages will appear.

Add formatting to messages

WhatsApp has recently added the ability to format text. You can bold, italicize and strikethrough any text by surrounding it with special characters when you tap it out.
  • To bold text: Add asterisks to either side of the text (*bold*)
  • To italicize text: Add underscores to either side of the text (_italics_)
  • To strikethrough text: Add tildes either side of the text (~tilde~)

WhatsApp FINALLY Lets You Delete Messages You've Sent

WhatsApp has now added a new feature allowing you to delete sent messages for all recipients

WhatsApp, has now been updated, with a much-requested feature, possibly THE most requested feature and one which anyone who has ever used the messenger platform will be glad to hear of; you can now delete messages after you've sent them, and not just for yourself, you can delete it for everyone in the conversation.
Potentially this allows you to delete a message before anyone else sees it. Great news for anyone who's ever sent a message and then immediately regretted it, which is probably most of us.
A hold press on a message brings up "delete" or "cancel" just like before, but with the new option "delete for everyone" as well. "Delete" just removes it from your end, but "delete for everyone" removes it for all participants in a conversation.
There are, however, a few caveats to this feature. As soon as you send a message, you basically have seven minutes in which to delete it for everyone, otherwise you loose the opportunity forever.
Additionally, the feature doesn't take into account whether others have seen the message or not, so if you see two blue ticks it's already too late. Otherwise, you can probably delete the message and safely know it wasn't seen.
If you do delete a message for everyone it will show "You deleted this message" in your window and "This message was deleted" for others, so they can see you deleted something even if they can't see what it was.
There's also no built-in mechanism to notify you if deleting for everyone failed for any reason.
The new update and features are rolling out right now, but as usual for such things, it might not land everywhere at the same time.

Taylor Swift's new album Reputation: we decode the meaning behind every single song

While we know that Swift, has been typically forthcoming with her relationships, in the face of the media in the past, her relationship with Joe Alwyn, has been her most secretive yet – with speculations that the privacy has been a tactical and intentional act.
In this song, Taylor sings, “I loved you in spite of deep fears that the world would divide us/ So baby can we dance, oh through an avalanche.”

Swift sings of her worry about the attention and focus on her relationship, however says their love is so intense it won’t matter in the end.
Is Swift about to make her relationship more public?

Transit of Venus from Jupiter‬, ‪Venus‬, ‪Jupiter‬, ‪2012 Venus Jupiter Mercury conjunction

Venus is bright because it’s nearby, because it’s blanketed in highly reflective clouds and because of its location in orbit with respect to Earth now

Venus is much brighter than any other planet viewed in Earth’s sky. It’s the third-brightest object in the sky, after the sun and moon, and right now it’s at another time of greatest brilliancy on July 9-10, 2015. Look for Venus now in the west after sunset. It’s near another very bright planet – but not as bright as Venus. The other planet is Jupiter.
Why is Venus bright? As the planet next-inward from Earth in orbit around the sun, Venus is relatively nearby. But it’s nearness isn’t the only reason Venus is bright. Consider that Mars orbits one step outward from Earth. And Mars waxes and wanes in brightness in our sky. It’s only exceptionally bright around the time Earth passes between Mars and the sun, when the Red Planet is at its closest to us.
With Venus, something else is going on. Astronomers use the term albedo to describe how bright a planet is in absolute terms. When sunlight strikes a planet, some of the light is absorbed by the planet’s surface or atmosphere – and some is reflected. Albedo is a comparison between how much light strikes an object – and how much is reflected.
Venus has the highest albedo of any major planet in our solar system. Its albedo is close to .7, meaning it reflects about 70 percent of the sunlight striking it. When the moon is close to full in Earth’s sky, it can look a lot brighter than Venus, but the moon reflects only about 10 percent of the light that hits it. The moon’s low albedo is due to the fact that our companion world is made of dark volcanic rock. It appears bright to us only because of its nearness to Earth. It’s only about a light-second away, in contrast for several light-minutes for Venus.
Venus is bright (it has a high albedo) because it’s blanketed by highly reflective clouds. The clouds in the atmosphere of Venus contain droplets of sulfuric acid, as well as acidic crystals suspended in a mixture of gases. Light bounces easily off the smooth surfaces of these spheres and crystals. Sunlight bouncing from these clouds is a big part of the reason that Venus is so bright.
By the way, Venus isn’t the most reflective body in our solar system. That honor goes to Enceladus, a moon of Saturn. Its icy surface reflects some 90% of the sunlight striking it.

Patriots Notes Martellus Bennett gets start in return to New England

DENVER — Martellus Bennett’s season was thought to be over. Instead, the veteran tight end’s bizarre 2017 season took another turn.
After being claimed by the Patriots, on Thursday and practicing one day — on Friday — Bennett was back in action on Sunday. The 30-year-old was active and on the field for the Patriots in Denver against the Broncos.
The circumstances surrounding Bennett’s departure from Green Bay took a strange turn last week. That fact that he was active with the Patriots , only adds to this odd story.
The tight end has reportedly been dealing with a torn rotator cuff and torn labrum. After talking with the Packers staff, it was thought that Bennett would undergo surgery and head to the injured reserve. He’s also been talking about retiring after this season, so it was possible that Bennett’s career was over.
That all changed when the Packers waived him with a “failure to disclose injury” designation. According to the NFL Network, Green Bay plans to go after some of Bennett’s $6.3 million signing bonus, saying the tight end had a pre-existing condition before signing his contract last March.
